After working out consistently for years, my fitness level had stagnated, and I was frustrated. I had strength trained for about 16 years – spending hours that I didn’t have to spare at the gym, never knowing where my limits were, never seeing results, and always dreading the experience.

I’m a runner -I have run in 16 marathons and ultras and run 35-40 miles per week, and have a 3:18 PR (personal record). I have benefited from the strength training program at Vertex. Feeling stronger has improved my quality of life – the way I feel when I’m running, the way my clothes fit, the way I feel when I wake up in the morning, how well I sleep, and how motivated I am to keep pushing, and carving out a better version of myself.
